Reporting directly to the company directors I manage a team of people supporting the sales and operations functions of the business.
Liaising between sales staff and overseas manufacturing facilities I co-ordinate international shipping to ensure efficient deliveries to meet deadlines. I have co-ordinated efforts between several departments to plan and implement a new internal ‘value added’ kitting process making sure that workflows, picking lists, materials and production areas are complete in time for the required delivery date.
Using problem-solving skills I work with customers; via phone, email or in person, to understand their requirements and identify suitable solutions. Using Excel I export, manipulate and analyze data from our ERP system to set targeted sales goals and look to improve internal stock management through the use of data. I am able to communicate clearly and appropriately to a range of audiences – from creating and delivering technical training materials to familiarise our staff with new product ranges to delivering a presentation on the key operations of Greentree to the CEO of our main supplier at an international conference in Belgium.
As part of my continuing professional development I have recently attained the CMS certificate in management studies to improve my ability to lead, direct and encourage others as well as further my overall understanding of the business environment.
